What Joy! APU and the New Year

"The Lord opens the eyes of the blind.  The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous.  The Lord watches over the sojourners; he upholds the widow and the fatherless, but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin.  The Lord will reign forever, your God, O Zion, to all generations.  Praise the Lord!"
Psalm 146

APU started off the year on a good foot with this morning's opening chapel.  The worship was fine, message was inspiring, and the WALL-E clip was cute.  But if anything spoke to me, it was one of the songs, What Joy.

In the heat, in the bustle, and in the mad rush to mingle, there is one ultimate truth and, ideally, one focus at the start of this college year. That as Christians, we should be the most JOYOUS in all humanity!  For a God who loves the righteous and lifts up those bowed down.  What peace!  For those whose confidence is in HIM alone!  Hallelujah...

Just listen to the words...and let God bless you!
